Couples sessions

Do you have a friend or partner who wants to join you on your fitness journey? Our couples sessions are perfect for that! 

 

With couples sessions, you and a friend can train together and keep each other accountable - this is a great way to stay movitated and ensure you both see results.

Personal Trainer

How it works:

  1. Complete the contact form at the bottom of this page.
     

  2. Nathan will pair you with a suitable personal trainer who can travel to your home or neaby park.
     

  3. Book in for an initial fitness consultation with your trainer and complete the medical waiver (reminder: there are no lock-in contracts).
     

  4. A personal trainer will contact you to organise the best days and times for training sessions.
     

  5. You're both ready to go!

Benefits of couples sessions

There are many benefits training with a friend or partner:

  1. Motivation: Having a workout buddy can help you stay motivated and committed to your fitness goals. When you have someone to exercise with, you are more likely to follow through with your workouts and push yourself harder.

  2. Social support: Working out with a friend or partner can provide social support, which can be especially helpful if you are new to exercise or have struggled with staying consistent in the past. Having someone to talk to and encourage you can make the workout feel more enjoyable and less intimidating.

  3. Variety: Working out with a friend or partner can help introduce new exercises or activities into your routine, which can make your workouts more interesting and challenging.

  4. Accountability: Having a workout buddy can also help hold you accountable to your fitness goals. When you know someone is counting on you to show up for a workout, you may be more likely to make it a priority.

  5. Fun: Working out with a friend can make workouts much more fun! Compete with them or just have some extra fun while training - you will find you can push harder and get more out of it with a few laughs and friendly competition.

Why choose couples sessions?

There are a few situations where it may be beneficial to train with a friend or partner, instead of training by yourself:

  • If you are new to exercise or training: Having a workout buddy or training partner can provide motivation and support, which can be especially helpful if you are new to exercise.

  • If you are looking to try new activities: Working out with a friend or partner can be a great way to try new activities or exercises that you might not have tried on your own. Our trainers can develop couples workouts which may be very different to what you are used to.

  • If you are training for a specific goal: Having a training partner can be helpful if you are training for a specific event or goal, such as a marathon or a lifting competition. A training partner can help hold you accountable to your training plan and provide encouragement and support as you work towards your goal.

  • If you enjoy social support: Some people find it more enjoyable to exercise with others and appreciate the social support and camaraderie that comes with training with a friend or partner.

  • If you find it hard to keep motivated by yourself: Having a workout buddy is one of the best ways to keep motivated and share the journey with - you will be much more likely to show up for a session if you know someone is waiting for you!

  • If you need that extra push: Training with someone as motivated as you can help you push through any boundaries you thought were there. You can both push each other to break through any plateaus.

That being said, training with a friend or partner is not always the best option. If you prefer to train at your own pace or have a hard time coordinating schedules with others, it might be more effective to train individually. Ultimately, the best approach will depend on your personal preferences and goals.
